. Brass Munkeys play 50-60s Jive, Swing music--the big band sound. It was fun having them at the reception.
Showmanship was awesome. For some of our guests, it was the first time they saw that kind of entertainment--another plus! Regarding the church requirements, I had to go home twice to fulfill the necessary requirements. There was no way around it unfortunately.
In lieu of the Discovery Weekend, Mike and I had the 1 day CEFA

Mike and I got our first wedding gift last Wednesday.
When I got home from work, there was this huge box from Crate & Barrel sitting at our living room.
I didn't open it though -- I got specific instructions from the sender not to open it until the bridal shower (which is tomorrow, by the way!).
Thank you so much for the gift, Rachel!
Printsonalities finally delivered our wedding invitations to Mike's house today. He showed them to me through web cam, and so far, everything looks good - the main invite, the inserts, the border design, the gold stamping. I wanna see them up close and personal though. OC-alert!
Next step is to have the guests' names and addresses done in Calligraphy and work on the wax seals. *whew!* The invites (hopefully) will be ready for distribution next week.
Pictures to follow!
