. Brass Munkeys play 50-60s Jive, Swing music--the big band sound. It was fun having them at the reception.
Showmanship was awesome. For some of our guests, it was the first time they saw that kind of entertainment--another plus! Regarding the church requirements, I had to go home twice to fulfill the necessary requirements. There was no way around it unfortunately.
In lieu of the Discovery Weekend, Mike and I had the 1 day CEFA

34 days....??!! Oh nnnoooo.....
Yes, I am in a panic... Yes, still so many things to do...
BUT our wedding invitations are finally done! Pictures here.
I had my New York bridal shower yesterday and it was a blast! I was so happy that friends and family traveled from all over the U.S. to join my bridal shower yesterday. Karen, a close friend from college who's now based in Florida, flew in to be a part of the bridal shower. Ginger, a friend who I have not seen in years, joined us yesterday (and she'll be flying to Manila to attend the wedding too! Ginger, from the bottom of my heart -- thank you!). You made the bridal shower fun!
Tita Maribel rode an Amtrak train for 20 hours from Ohio so she could join me and my family for the bridal shower. Thank you Tita Bubu! Honey Lou, my co-worker, traveled from New Jersey to join us. Same with Tito Butch, Tita Toots from Toms River, New Jersey, and Tito Charlie and Tita Lyn Manalo also from New Jersey. And of course, my dearest cousin and Maid of Honor, Rachel, took time off from work and traveled from Boston to organize and make the bridal shower happen. Cuz, you did it again! Success! The turnout was amazing!
I loved every detail of the bridal shower -- thank you! Thank you!
I loved the gifts!
Rachel pointed out the gift table and I couldn't believe the number of Crate & Barrel boxes I saw -- 9!!! AND as soon as I saw this large familiar blue bag with a white satin ribbon, I couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear. Ginger bought me gifts from Tiffany & Co.
'Will post pictures of the bridal shower as soon as I get them from Rachel.
